Hello – from Hull, Yorkshire!
After a bit of “downtime” in January I have now moved to Hull University Business School, based in the Yorkshire town of Kingston-upon-Hull (or Hull for short). Once I get a little more settled I hope to be able to post more regularly. If you fancy, you can find out a bit more about the university in the video above – or have a look at the city of Hull below. While I haven’t been in Hull for long so far, two things I can say is that people really are a lot more friendly “up here” than in London – and that despite having a pretty rough reputation as a city, Hull actually seems a pretty nice place (obviously also helped by the friendly people!).
Hey Stephan
You will be missed in London. Hull uni looks great. Best of luck for the new start!
Those who only know London do not know England. London is a global city. The fact that it is geographically connected to the rest of England is incidental. The rest of England is very different from London. Never mind Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland!
Good luck for this new adventure Prof. !
London will miss you, and MDX has just missed a chance, I guess!
Thanks for your teachings:)
