Disconnected …

Yesterday, while having a drink with a friend in the evening, my phone was in my jacket and switched to silent. So it was fun to see that after about two hours, I had amassed the grand total of 27 text messages. It might have been (for me) a pretty extreme example, and no, I am not a particularly social kind of person, but it just goes to show that sometimes the “always on” culture can just get that little bit too much. If it ever does it to you, then why not check out the “real-world platform for temporary disengagement from social networking environments” at nosoproject.org . Quite fun - and a good way to test just how unsociable you can be ;)
