Tony MontanaThe pioneer in this area is the current campaign for the game Scarface: The World Is Yours. On a dedicated website, users can customise advertising messages (spoken by the lead character Tony Montana) and then send them to their peers.
In this case, the impressive voice of the character (based on Al Pacino) makes this form of viral marketing work, but the customised way of sending advertising is something new. But then it is quite intriguing and funny - well at least I have sent it to a couple of friends. So it must be working…
