Do good – earn credits (or even a Master)!
In addition to the new Master in Health and Social Marketing, we are also going to launch a very exciting new module which combines work-based learning with volunteering (or service-learning as it is also often called) in exchange for university credits at master level.
The module will be an optional part of all our new Marketing masters, and will be a year-long module. During the year, students will be required to volunteer for a minimum of 50 hours and complete a marketing-related project for the charity for which they volunteer. In exchange they can drop one taught module by negotiation from their master as long as they can demonstrate that they have meet the required learning outcomes through their project. In addition to the credit gained for their studies, students will also be eligible to receive the Leadership, Enterprise and Citizenship Award.
